To Turn Every Scenic Spot into Holiday Resorts for People

President Kim Il Sung arrived in Sangonpho in Kyongsong County in the early morning of September 22 Juche 36(1947).

He took slow steps towards the suspension bridge across the river flowing along the Onpho valley as he feasted his eyes on the surrounding scenery.

Looking at the clear water flowing under the bridge, he said that Korea has been called the golden tapestry of three thousand-ri and that Kyongsong is a scenic spot of Korea along with Mts Kumgang and Myohyang.

And after a while, he recalled with deep emotion that during the anti-Japanese armed struggle he had called on the guerrillas to build holiday camps in such scenic spots as Mt Kumgang and Kyongsong after liberation so that the Korean people could have holidays there.

He then noted that now that the country was liberated and the people became masters of it, it was necessary to build a wonderful holiday camp there to let working people have a pleasant time to their heart`s content.
