President Kim Il Sung visited a kindergarten in Sakju County, North Phyongan Province, in August Juche 55(1966).
The President, finding out a boy afflicted with an eye trouble among the children throwing themselves into his arms for joy, examined his inflamed eyes and asked the head of a village clinic to go out to the kindergarten every day to do check-up of children and give them necessary treatments.
When he visited the kindergarten again the following year, he recognized the boy and was happy to see that he got well with clear and limpid eyes.
Like this, the President still remembered the health of the kindergartener in a remote mountain village even after a lapse of a year.
