A Korean stamp exhibition with the theme of “Great Leadership, 75 Years of Victory” opened in celebration of the 75th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
On display there are more than one thousand stamps showing the glorious 75-year-long history of the WPK guiding the Korean people to all victories, and other stamps presented by philatelists in Pyongyang.
The opening ceremony took place at the Korean Stamp Museum on October 6.
It was attended by Ri Il Hwan, vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee, officials concerned, and philatelists in the city.
Ho Song Gil, director of the State Stamp Bureau, delivered an opening address.
After the ceremony, the participants looked round the exhibition venue.
The exhibition will last till October 16.
