A south Korean delegation co-headed by Kim Tong Man, chairman of the Confederation of Trade Unions, and Choe Jong Jin, senior vice-chairman of the Federation of Democratic Trade Unions, arrived in Pyongyang by air on October 28 to participate in the football match between north and south Korean workers for national reconciliation, unity, peace and reunification.
They were greeted by the officials of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea including its chairman Ju Yong Gil at the Pyongyang International Airport.
Women workers presented the heads of the delegation with bouquets.
That day the Central Committee of the GFTUK arranged a reception in honour of the delegation at the People’s Palace of Culture.
