An Asian news agency reported:
“Women in the DPRK have been fulfilling their mission and duty in the concern of the Party and government. Since the first election of deputies to the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK in 1948, a large number of women have been elected the deputies to SPA. The Party and government of the DPRK are attaching a great importance to the roles of women and deeply concerned for them.”
