It is a gift presented to Chairman Kim Jong Il from the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Greece in April 2006.
Greek Communist Party prepared this ceramic work “Pigeon” after having several rounds of discussion in order to contain in the gift its constant support of and solidarity with the righteous cause of the Workers’ Party of Korea led by Chairman Kim Jong Il and its confidence in correctness and victory of the global cause of socialism.
This ceramic work imitated with special materials in Greece the original craftwork “Pigeon” preserved at Archaeological Museum of Athens and received a warranty both from Ministry of Culture of Greece and Archaeological Museum.
