A Story about a Song

It happened when Chairman Kim Jong Il began his work at the Party Central Committee.

Whenever he was at his quiet office room after closing hour, the Chairman used to indulge himself in speculation singing a song.

The very song he used to sing was “See the ‘Golden’ Trees on the Hillsides, Rows of Apple Trees.”

Once an official said to the Chairman that he liked singing very much, but why he often sang that song only.

At that time the Chairman said that the song was beautifully composed as it frankly sang our indebtedness to the President who created the earthly paradise of people filled with golden trees and apple trees on this land where people had cried out if spring would come to the deprived land and that he sang the song so often because the more he sang, the deeper his thought was and he used to feel his responsibility heavier for a mission to be carried out by an official of the Party Central Committee.

Like this, the Chairman was a peerlessly great man who kept more deeply in mind his sense of responsibility he took before the Party and revolution even singing a song.
