There was a time when President Kim Il Sung discussed with economic officials about building of a synthetic rubber factory.
Some officials raised an opinion that they cannot perfectly remove air and water pollutants with the then technology when rubber is produced in a chemical way.
The President taught them resolutely that we should never build a factory or an enterprise which causes harm to the lives of the people and we could never allow even the slightest compromise with pollution.
The officials couldn’t but be surprised as they had known how important and urgent it was to build the synthetic rubber factory.
Anything can never be accepted if it gives harm to the health and happiness of the people!
This was an unshakable faith the President had maintained throughout his life.
