On December 24, 2008, Chairman Kim Jong Il visited the Chollima Steel Complex to see the super-high electric steel furnace of our style with great satisfaction and walked into the dining hall of smelters.
Having finished his inspection to the dining hall, the Chairman said in a strict tone to the factory officials that it had low temperature and it was greatly mistaken to get workers have meals at the cold hall.
And then, he instructed that the general manager and Party chief secretary of the Complex should gather workers and make an apology to them and that both of them should raise the temperature of the dining hall up to normal degree before the New Year’s Day.
His instruction was an exceptional “order” which was conveyed throughout the country as a declaration of absolute trust in and love for workers.
