The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un unfolded a far-reaching plan for turning the Wonsan Kalma area where Myongsasimni is located into a world-level coastal tourist town to provide the people with a civilized and happy life, and left footprints of his leadership there several times.
On July 16, he gave field guidance over the construction of the Wonsan Kalma coastal tourist area.
Feasting his eyes on a panoramic view of the vast tourist area stretching along the coastline, Kim Jong Un, with a broad smile on his face, said that it is really beautiful and spectacular and expressed satisfaction at the fact that it is taking on an impeccable appearance as a world-level coastal tourist town as planned.
That day, he held a consultative meeting on the spot to discuss the practical matters for making full preparations for the operation of the tourist area in a far-sighted manner, according to a well-thought-out plan to open it by next May.
Stressing the importance of making good preparations for the operation of the tourist area, he specified the orientation for doing so and took a series of important measures.
He said that with a marine park of national value successfully built to be known to the world as the best tourist resort of the country, Myongsasimni will shoot to fame in the near future as a pride of Wonsan and a 4-km-long stretch of beach crowded with people.
