Soil Where Party Is Rooted

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un got together with senior officials of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea on January 22, Juche 108 (2019).

Telling them that he, together with officials, planted pine trees some days ago along the road in front of the office building of the Party Central Committee, he said as follows:

Just as a deeply-rooted pine tree is evergreen and firm, if a party takes root deep among the masses of people, it will never shake or crumble in any storm but it will emerge victorious without any frustration. The masses of the people constitute the soil where the party is rooted. Only when a party takes deep root among the masses can it perform its mission without losing its revolutionary and popular character.

And he underscored the need for officials to bear it in mind and thoroughly implement the Party’s mass line so as to rally broad sections of the people around the Party.

Once, he stated as follows: In our society the people do not exist for the sake of officials, but officials exist for the sake of the people. As officials themselves are the sons and daughters of the people, it is quite natural for them to serve the people.

On another day, he said that our Party will cherish the people’s sincere loyalty to it as the greatest asset of the revolution and bring earlier everything splendid in the future by shouldering all the burdens and clearing a thorny path for the sake of our brave, resourceful and beautiful people.

Cherishing such a noble intention in his mind, he is writing the WPK’s leadership history with selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people.
