One March day in Juche 104 (2015), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited a combined fishing-tackle factory upon hearing about its completion.
After looking round all workshops, he stressed the need to decisively expand the production capacity of the factory to fully supply fishing tackles needed by fishing stations across the country. He personally initiated the construction of a new combined fishing-tackle factory with the production area 5 times and the production capacity 8 times greater than before and chose its place, and solved all problems arising in the project, including the issue of providing it with modern facilities.
Accordingly, a new factory was built in a little more than one year.
In July the following year, Kim Jong Un visited it despite sultry weather.
He expressed great satisfaction as the newly-built factory looked nice and well-arranged.
Noting that the work of sufficiently producing various fishing tackles needed in fishing and offshore farming has a direct bearing on the dietary life of the people, he stressed that it would be possible to improve the dietary life of service personnel and people only by bolstering the fishing industry across the country which is bounded by the sea.
