General Knowledge Learning Space Tells

One day in June 2016, a few days before the 70th founding anniversary of the Korean Children’s Union, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the remodelled Mangyongdae Children’s Camp in the capital city of Pyongyang.

While going round various places of the camp, he asked an official whether there was any knowledge dissemination room in the camp.

At that time, the camp had mountain-hiking knowledge and marine knowledge learning space.

Kim Jong Un said:

The children’s camps I visit have mountain-hiking and marine knowledge learning spaces that teach young campers only mountain-hiking and marine knowledge. Teaching classified knowledge is not necessary. It would be a good idea to teach them not only mountain-hiking and marine knowledge but also multifaceted and comprehensive knowledge in a general knowledge learning space.

Noting that a computer room could be laid out in the learning space as it was an era of computer, he added knowledge related to extracurricular education of the campers and knowledge suited to their age and psychology should be input into the computers so that the campers could retrieve them.

As a result, a general knowledge learning space was built at the camp.
