One August day in Juche 101 (2012) the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited a combined livestock farm.
Stressing the need to raise domestic animals of good stock and perfect and generalize scientific breeding methods in order to obtain meat from grass, he looked round artificial grass fields and the feed processing room. Then he made for the institute for domestic animals of good stock.
While watching a video on sci-tech achievements of the institute at its sci-tech achievements exhibition hall, he asked how it receives sci-tech data.
Noticing the officials of the institute hesitating to answer, he understood that a perfect sci-tech dissemination system had not been established there.
The main thing in sci-tech research is the dissemination of new techniques, he noted, adding that the farm should do well the work to introduce advanced techniques. And he took various measures to make the institute receive advanced sci-tech data directly from the central institution.
After solving the knottiest problem of the researchers, he went to the laboratory.
Finding it not fully equipped with experimental facilities, he took a measure to provide it with necessary equipment.
Thanks to his field guidance, the farm came to have sufficient material and technical foundations for having a lion’s share in developing the animal husbandry of the country, though it is situated in a remote mountain area.
