The respected comrade Kim Jong Un arrived at Yangdok Railway Station by train early in the morning on August 15, Juche 107 (2018).
After greeting the leading officials of Yangdok County in his office on the coach, he said: I had planned to build a model hot spring resort of the country. So, I came here to get information about hot springs in this area. Today, I am going to discuss the work of refurbishing the Sokthang hot spring area in the county.
A discussion on the issue of facelifting the hot spring area in the county was held in the coach which stopped at a quiet, small mountain railway station.
Kim Jong Un said with confidence: Yangdok County is the most suitable site for building a hot spring resort for medical treatment, tourism and relaxation as it has favourable traffic conditions.
And he gave detailed instructions concerning the project, including the issues of building a large general hot spring hotel and indoor and outdoor baths, and mixing no water with hot spring to lower its temperature.
The layout of the Yangdok Hot Spring Resort began to be designed in his simple office on the coach.
