At the Third Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK presided over by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in June Juche 110 (2021), it was set up as a Party’s policy to supply dairy products and other nutritional foodstuffs at state expense to all children at nurseries and kindergartens across the country. Meanwhile, the law of the Supreme People’s Assembly “On Adopting the Law on Childcare in the DPRK” was passed at the Sixth Session of the 14th Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK to provide a legal guarantee for execution of the Party’s policy.
According to the childcare policy of the WPK and the state, all provinces, cities and counties have expanded their capacities to produce dairy products and set up their systems to supply them on a regular basis and thus never ceased to supply them to children even under the situation of the highest anti-epidemic emergency work.
