On the occasion of the 80th birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il, floral baskets were laid before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill on February 14 in the names of director Thomas Karl Richter of the Board of Directors of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Foundation, Svetlana Odintzova, member of the KKF, Roman Litvinov, general manager of Rusposhev Clothes Factory of Russia and Evgeni Utzehin, president of Silplaz Co. Ltd. of Russia.
Written on the ribbons of the baskets were the letters reading “The Great Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il Will Always Be with Us” and “The Great Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il Will Be Immortal.”
Meanwhile on the same day, baskets of flowers were also laid before the statues of the President and the Chairman in the name of German Association in Support of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Foundation.
