On January 24, Juche 101 (2012), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Mangyongdae Revolutionary School on lunar New Year’s Day.
Noting that he had come to see the students greeting lunar New Year’s Day, he warmly waved back to the enthusiastically cheering teaching staff and students with a broad smile on his face.
Wiping away tears from the eyes of a student on the first row, he asked the students if they did not feel cold and urged them to put on gloves.
After posing for a photo session with them, he looked round several lecture rooms and laboratories provided with good teaching environment and scientific and educational apparatuses to learn in detail about its teaching situation.
He dropped in at bedrooms, mess hall and various other places to acquaint himself with the living conditions of students. In a bedroom he asked officials to take measures to keep rooms warmer lest the students should feel cold. In the mess hall he asked students taking holiday dishes what they liked and what food was the most delicious, taking paternal care of their life.
Though it was already dark outside, he kept looking round the playground, gymnasium, e-library and meeting hall, indicating the tasks for education, management and operation of the school.
