“I will be holding up President Kim Il Sung till my death.” It is what Luiser Rinser, a woman writer of Germany confessed after her meeting with the President.
In May Juche 69(1980), she met the President for the first time. The President, who had gone out to the garden in person to greet her, carefully listened to her voyage of life, gave crisp answers to her questions and even took a measure to cure her eyes.
Completely fascinated by his benevolent personality, she told her impression as follows:
“President Kim Il Sung began his talk as politely as ever. He was very calm, cheerful and kind. He was really plain to homeliness. He had no sign of showing his dignity. He joked and laughed heartily, too.”
