Sinphyong Kumgang is a beauty spot located in Ahobiryong Mountains which stretched down to the middle part of the DPRK and covers an area of over 40㎢. Boasting of beautiful valley landscape, it contrasts with other scenic spots as it has specific scenery composed of narrow valleys.
The beautiful scenery, in which crystal-clear water never dries up for all seasons in combination with each gorge, can be found nowhere else.
Various scenic views and spots unfolded in eight gorges of Sinphyong Kumgang such as Jinju, Kumgang, Jangsu Peak and Okryu valleys, waterfalls and pools of all sizes and figures, and forests formed stage by stage along the cliff are adding to the superb beauty of gorges.
