One April day some years ago the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un inspected the construction site of the Rungna People`s Recreation Ground which was nearing completion. He had been devoting himself to building Rungna Islet into a wonderful base for cultural and emotional life of the people, true to the behests of Chairman Kim Jong Il.
Referring to the need to give the islet area a general name, he said the word “people” should never be omitted from the name of the recreation ground. It will be best to name it Rungna People`s Recreation Ground in view of the noble intention of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who devoted their all to the good of the people all their lives, he noted.
