Nothing Is More Precious Than Human Life

One day in December Juche 34(1945), President Kim Il Sung called an official.

He said that it was very important to establish anti-epidemic facilities, that there was a high risk of infiltration of epidemics from abroad, for the country was just liberated from Japanese military rule, and that nothing is more precious than human life.

We are making the revolution solely to serve the interests of the people and bring them happiness, he added.

Thus, a large fund was invested in the anti-epidemic work at the time when every penny was so precious.
