Flower Baskets Sent to Statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il

On the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of the Workers` Party of Korea, foreigners sent flower baskets to the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill in Pyongyang. They included the family of Kim Sun Ok who is related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, families of Cai Shiying and Wang Xiaoming, Chinese related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, the Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist), the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, the Switzerland-Korea Committee, the Finland-Korea Society, the German Group for the Study of Korean Culture, the Anti-imperialist Forum of Germany, Giancarlo Elia Valori, president of the International Group of Italy, Jose Francisco Aguilar Bulgarelli, coordinator of the Costa Rican Committee for Supporting Korea`s Reunification and Costa Rica-Korea Institute of Friendship and Culture.

The Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the Communist Parties-the Communist Party of the Soviet Union also sent a basket of flower in their joint name.

The flower baskets were laid before the statues of the great leaders.

Written on the ribbons of the flower baskets were letters reading “The great Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il will be with us forever” and “We warmly congratulate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Workers’ Party of Korea”.
