President Kim Il Sung, Lodestar of Korea’s Liberation

It is 75 years since the Korean people, who had been deprived of not only their 3 000-ri territory but also their spoken and written language and names by Japanese imperialists and who had been so grieved as they had not had even a patch of land to be buried after they died that they had to cross the Amnok and Tuman rivers and the Korean Strait to seek their way of living in other countries, singing the song of Arirang full of tears of sorrow, cried and laughed with excitement and joy over the country`s liberation on August 15 1945.

The cheers of hurrah, with which the whole nation greeted General Kim Il Sung, the peerless patriot and the great Sun of the nation who saved the Korean nation from the destiny of a ruined nation by fighting through the flames of the anti-Japanese war so that they could lead an independent human life, still reverberate throughout the country. 

Therefore, personages of many foreign countries highly praised President Kim Il Sung for his sacred revolutionary life and feats in the congratulatory messages and letters they sent on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Korea`s liberation.

President Kim Il Sung is the saviour of the Korean nation who liberated the country from Japanese military rule, said the chairman of the National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism of Ethiopia. “He liberated the country 75 years ago, thus performing imperishable feats for the nation. Korea`s liberation inspired firm confidence in victory among progressive humankind”.

The president of the International Group of Italy said that President Kim Il Sung was the founder and great state leader of the Democratic People`s Republic of Korea.

He founded the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army on April 25 1932 and liberated Korea from the occupation by Japan, he said, adding he wisely led the work for the prosperity and development of the country after its liberation to make the DPRK shine brightly decade after decade and generation after generation.

The chairman of the Asia-African People’s Solidarity Committee of Nepal said that under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung, the Korean anti-Japanese revolutionaries waged an arduous and protracted armed struggle to liberate the country on August 15 1945. “It is the great victory of Juche-based strategy and tactics of the President,” he noted.
