Hall Where the Armistice Agreement Was Signed

It is the place where signing ceremony of the Armistice Agreement of the 3-year long fierce Korean War was held.

The hall covering an area of 900 square meters was erected just in 5 days by the Korean army and people. At 10 am on July 27, Juche 42 (1953), the armistice agreement was signed there. According to the agreement, both sides were bound to stop the war within 12 hours from that time.

The 3-year-long war ended with a brilliant victory of the Korean people under the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung.

Preserved there are the tables and chairs on which the armistice agreement was signed, flags, documents, etc.
