This hall, inaugurated in 1989, stands side by side with the East Pyongyang Grand Theatre in the Munsu Street, Pyongyang.
It comprises a multi-purpose hall, a 1 500-seat auditorium, a 600-seat auditorium and conference rooms of different sizes.
The auditoriums and rooms serve as a venue for colourful political and cultural events attended by youth and students, like art performances, oratorical contests, film shows and commemoration discussions.
In the multi-purpose hall have been often held dancing parties, photo exhibitions, exhibitions of scientific and technological achievements, concerts and other colourful events and friendship gatherings of young people from at home and abroad.
