One day in April Juche 101(2012) in the run-up to the Day of the Sun (April 15, President Kim Il Sung`s birthday), Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un gave meaningful instructions to the officials.
He said that we should highly respect the people and put them forward as Heaven and do all work by prioritizing their interests and demand true to the noble intentions of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who had adopted ‘The people are my God` as their lifetime motto. He earnestly requested that all Party organizations always sincerely value and love the people like their mothers and take responsible care of their political lives to the last to make them honourable.
That day the Supreme Leader said officials must devote their all for the good of the people and there are officials for the people, not vice versa, adding that they should all learn after the President- and the Chairman-style view on the people, share sweets and bitters with them living under the same roof and work harder for them.
They were valuable instructions which reminded the officials of their mission and duty.
