The international community passionately praises the immortal exploits of Chairman Kim Jong Il who made great contributions on behalf of the country and people under the banner of Songun.
The chairman of the Brazilian Centre for the Study of Songun Politics posted an article on its website. It said:
Songun is the great strategy for national defence.
To understand Songun means the understanding of the Korean People’s Army, the strong armed forces of the DPRK, and that of the history of the Korean people who recorded many pages of victory.
Songun politics is the basic political mode of socialism which helps defend the country, revolution and socialism and dynamically push ahead with the overall socialist construction by relying on the revolutionary spirit and combat efficiency of the Korean People’s Army.
The general secretary of the Communist Party of the Democratic Republic of Congo said that at the end of the last century, when socialist Korea was faced with the worst adversity, Chairman Kim Jong Il formulated Songun politics as the basic mode of socialist politics, embodied it in an all-round way and developed the KPA into ever-victorious elite armed forces with his continuous inspection tour of army units.
The Thailand-DPRK Friendship Association said in its statement that under the Songun leadership of Chairman Kim Jong Il, the DPRK struck the world with wonder by performing astonishing miracles and solidified into an invincible socialist bulwark. In those days, the Korean people invariably advanced along the road of Songun with great courage that they fear nothing as long as they firmly believe in and follow their leader, it noted, adding the Chairman’s Songun leadership exploits will shine forever along with the century.
