The Korean people celebrated the 66th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War as the holiday of victors.
The National Symphony Orchestra held a concert and the State Merited Chorus and Mansudae Art Troupe staged performances to commemorate the July 27 V-day. Performances were also given in Pyongyang and the localities.
Meetings with war veterans and dancing parties of youth and students took place in all parts of the country to mark the event, adding to the festive holiday atmosphere.
