Remembrance meeting, seminar on the exploits of President Kim Il Sung, book and photo exhibition, film show and other political and cultural events took place in many countries to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the demise of the President.
They were attended by important personages and other people in relevant countries.
Speakers including the head of the Juche Idea Study Center in Milan, Italy and the chief editor of an Italian magazine highly praised President Kim Il Sung as the father of socialist Korea who founded the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, legendary hero of the Korean people and benevolent father who devoted his life for the people.
President Kim Il Sung adopted “The people are my God” as his lifetime motto and turned the DPRK into a genuine country of the people and an independent power, devoting his all to accomplishing the cause of national reunification, said the chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of the Democratic Republic of Congo. “The exploits he performed for the times and history will shine with the century forever.”
The general secretary of the Central Committee of the People’s Socialist Party of Mexico who is also chairman of the Mexican Friend Association for Memory of President Kim Il Sung and Leader Kim Jong Il also lauded the President for the great exploits he had performed for socialist construction and the cause of independence of humankind.
