The National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of the Democratic Republic of Congo issued a bulletin on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the start of work by Chairman Kim Jong Il at the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
The bulletin said in an article entitled “The highest commendation regarded by a great man” which was carried along with the photo of the Chairman:
Chairman Kim Jong Il had strengthened and developed the Party as the guiding force of the revolution and consolidated the single-hearted unity of whole society as firm as a rock for decades since he started to work at the WPK Central Committee on June 19 1964.
The bulletin introduced orders, medals and honorary titles which were awarded to the Chairman by many countries and international organizations in recognition of his undying feats performed on behalf of the times and history, and said:
Leader Kim Jong Il regarded the true heart of plain and pure-hearted people as the great pride and dignity more than any honour or order.
Considering the people’s intimate call of “our General” as the highest commendation, he did not stop the journey for his people even a moment.
