On the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK, culture exhibitions took place in Beijing and Dandong of China and a book, photo and fine art exhibition in Shenyang in the period between August 29 and September 12.
Hanging at the venues were the photos showing President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il meeting with Chinese leaders of the elder generations and Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un’s historic China visit. On display at the exhibitions were the immortal works of the peerlessly great men and books, stamps and fine art works introducing the DPRK.
Opening ceremonies were attended by relevant officials, public figures of all social standings and masses.
Speeches were made there.
The executive vice-president of the Cultural Administration Association of the Ministry of Culture of China who is also director of the Dongfang House of Culture and Art and other speakers said that the photos of President Kim Il Sung make them recall his exploits performed for the strengthening and development of the Sino-DPRK friendship and the bilateral friendship provided by Chairman Mao Zhedong and President Kim Il Sung is a priceless legacy for the peoples of the two countries, adding that the bilateral ties of friendship have attained a new high stage under the close concern of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and President Xi Jinping.
They expressed the belief that the Korean people would win greater successes in all fields under the seasoned leadership of the Supreme Leader.
