One day in February Juche 101(2012), Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un called an official to ask him about the preparations for the Fourth Conference of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
After hearing his report, the Supreme Leader said that the conference would discuss the matter of holding Chairman Kim Jong Il in high esteem as the eternal General Secretary of the Party.
He then referred to the need to make the conference a historic meeting to discuss the important issue of holding the great leaders of the revolution in high esteem forever at the helm of the Party and revolution and successfully inheriting and completing the revolutionary cause of Juche, and gave the official detailed instructions to this end.
He also told him about the first agenda item of the conference and the new contents to be included in the Party rules.
Afterwards, the historical Fourth Conference of the WPK adopted the resolution on holding Kim Jong Il as the eternal General Secretary of the Party and adding eternal brilliance to his revolutionary life and exploits with unanimous approval of the participants.
The thunderous applause and cheers that shook the conference hall were a manifestation of the highest tribute of all the people to the eternal General Secretary of the WPK and an eruption of their deep reverence for the Supreme Leader who made a sacred history of immortalizing the leader which was unprecedented in the history of political parties in the world.
