The Swiss and British organizations released statements to mark the 24th anniversary of the demsie of President Kim Il Sung.
The Swiss remembrance committee to mark the 24th anniversary of the demise of President Kim Il Sung, the Swiss organizing committee of the international festival in praise of the great persons of Mt Paektu, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a joint statement on July 1.
The statement said that the Korean people pay profound respects to the President with heartfelt yearning for him to mark the anniversary of his demise on July 8.
Progressive humankind also looks back with deep emotion upon the great exploits he performed for accomplishing the cause of global independence, it noted.
The DPRK enhanced its international prestige under the leadership of the President, the statement said. “President Kim Il Sung will always live in the hearts of the world’s progressives as well as the Korean people.”
The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, in a statement on June 27, also highly praised the President as the peerless patriot, brilliant military strategist, champion of independence and father of the people.
