A great deal of energies is being directed to putting the production of tree saplings on a scientific basis.
The Central Tree Nursery of the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection ensures the proper growth of tree seedlings by reducing the application of fertilizer to more than half the previous amount with the help of effective slow action fertilizers.
It has also established the methods of exterminating blights with biological agrichemicals, producing light substrate and shortening fermentation period, which are of great significance in putting the production of tree seedlings on a more scientific, industrial and intensive basis.
After acclimatizing over 70 species of trees, it now works on perfecting their propagation methods. Every year it produces tens of millions of saplings of good species to be planted across the country.
