A meeting to take an oath of loyalty took place at the Paektusan Secret Camp on the northern tip of Korea on February 12 Juche 107(2018) on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star.
The speakers said that Chairman Kim Jong Il had performed undying exploits all his life on behalf of the Party, revolution, country and people, true to the noble intention of President Kim Il Sung, and pledged themselves to build a thriving, powerful socialist country by translating the Chairman’s lifetime desire and ideal into reality.
A dazzling display of fireworks lit up the nocturnal sky above the secret camp on Mt Paektu, the ancestral mountain of Korea and sacred mountain of the revolution where the Chairman was born.
The cheers that resounded through the sea of trees covered with snow in February were an eruption of boundless reverence for the peerlessly great man of the Korean nation and a reflection of the oath of the Korean people to remain boundlessly faithful to the leadership of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
