The participants in the 5th International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on August 13, Juche 106 (2017) to pay tribute to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.
At the halls of immortality where the great leaders lie in state, they paid homage to them in recognition of their undying exploits in implementing the cause of global independence.
They looked round the halls where medals and honours the great leaders had received from foreign leaders and organizations are preserved, as well as sedans, an electric car, a boat and carriages on display. Some of them made entries in visitors’ books.
The honorary chairman of the international preparatory committee of the festival wrote that President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il are the great Sun of the DPRK, adding that they will live on in the hearts of mankind along with the undying exploits they had performed for their country, nation and revolution.
