Early in April Juche 108 (2019), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the construction site of the township of then Samjiyon County, Ryanggang Province.
Looking round the construction site, he expressed satisfaction over the progress of the construction.
He told the accompanying officials that the township changed beyond recognition in a matter of several months and expressed belief that when such speed and mettle were kept, the construction project could be completed in the set time as planned by the Party.
He said that whenever he saw the county turning into a model of mountainous city, he keenly felt the pure loyalty of the people, adding that it is all the people across the country to whom we should be grateful and bow.
He noted that Samjiyon could be transformed like this as the shock brigade members from across the country worked hard with loyalty and the people in different parts of the country rendered sincere assistance, both morally and materially, to the construction.
