One August day in Juche 103 (2014) the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Hosiery Factory.
While looking round the factory, he saw a woman who was assembling a newly-built facility. Recognizing her, he gave her a bright smile.
In December four years before she, as a researcher from Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering, first met him when he came to the factory together with Chairman Kim Jong Il. That day Kim Jong Un put forward her before Kim Jong Il in acknowledgement of her contribution to manufacturing a modern machine.
When he visited the factory again in July Juche 101 (2012), he saw her standing by a machine and took her hands warmly, saying that he was glad to see her who had brought delight to the Chairman by developing an automatic hosiery packing machine.
Looking affectionately at the researcher who was excited to recall the honourable days, he said that he had met her during his previous visit and appreciated her devoted efforts.
Then, he saw a facility she and her colleagues and teachers at Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering were building, and encouraged them, saying that we should launch a dynamic struggle to produce the equipment for modernizing production lines by our own efforts, just as the university had built an automatic packing machine and other facilities needed for hosiery production without outside help.
