One January day in Juche 106 (2017), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un inspected the quilt production line newly established at the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill.
He learned in detail about the production of various bedclothes including quilts for all seasons and wedding, and bedding. Speaking highly of the fact that the colours of silk quilt cloth are elegant and graceful and that the silk mill has completely ensured domestic production of raw materials, he expressed great satisfaction as it was possible to supply various quality quilts to the people.
Feasting his eyes on the quilts piled up in a storehouse, he said he felt very pleasant as he saw a cascade of bags at the newly-built Pyongyang Bag Factory a few days ago and a cascade of quilts at the silk mill.
During his visit to the silk mill in June 2016, he gave an instruction to set up a modern process of producing varieties of quality quilts and took measures to this end.
And today he visited it again and earnestly requested it to mass-produce quality quilts favoured by people. Under his meticulous guidance, a cascade of quilts was unfolded there.
Thanks to his loving care to provide people with more affluent and better living conditions, the wealth for their welfare increases day by day.
