One day in December Juche 65 (1976), President Kim Il Sung took stock of the actual situation of public health and came to realize that some officials excluded the pharmaceutical and medical appliance industry sector from getting supplied the necessary materials because there were many urgent and special sectors.
The President reprimanded that any sector could never be more urgent and special than the public health sector which takes care of the health and lives of the people.
Saying that he would solve the problem of raw materials and other supplies needed for ministry of public health even by taking an additional measure, he pointed out that producing the pharmaceuticals and medical appliances was very important in the people’s living and then supplying the necessary materials and facilities to the sector should always be treated as top priority.
Here is, indeed, the noble outlook of the President on the people that always attached primary importance to the work for their lives and health.
