A variety of events such as celebration meeting, seminar on exploits and lecture that celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Korean People’s Army were also held in Russia, Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Poland, Bangladesh and Nigeria between January 21 and February 7.
They were attended by public figures and people from all walks of life.
Extolling the army-building exploits of President Kim Il Sung, Vadim Kudimin, chief of the Russian Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism Institute, said that those countries which succumbed to the imperialists due to their weak military capabilities are envying the Korean People’s Army led by Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un.
And he added that the Russian people should remember the KPA which has been developed into an invincible revolutionary armed force is protecting global peace.
Addressing an event in Uganda, the chairman of the Ugandan National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea and other speakers said that under the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung the Korean people achieved so precious successes in the revolutionary struggle upholding the banner of the Juche idea and that the KPA is fully guaranteeing national sovereignty and a bright future of the Korean people.
Andre Lohekele Kalonda, chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of the Democratic Republic of Congo urged the United States to recognize the DPRK’s strategic status and refrain from clinging to risky nuclear war moves against socialist Korea.
