A constant stream of people flowed into Pyongyang’s Mansu Hill where the statues of the great leaders stand, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il’s election as general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
There were a variety of celebration events in Pyongyang, including a national symposium, oratorical contest and Korean stamp show.
The events highlighted the locals’ deep trust in and loyalty to the Chairman who had strengthened the WPK into a revolutionary party of Juche and performed undying exploits in carrying out the revolutionary cause of Juche.
They also demonstrated the public sentiment for giving full play to the invincibility of the great Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Party under the seasoned guidance of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
