Among the many foreigners who wholeheartedly respected and revered Chairman Kim Jong Il, there was Marshal Dmitri Yazov, former Soviet defence minister.
He met the Chairman in July Juche 87(1998).
During the meeting he admired him for his profound military knowledge and said with respect: “Respected Comrade Kim Jong Il, you are a great master of not only politics but also the military. I will be your disciple”.
He was so charmed by personality traits of the Chairman that he highly praised him as the greatest man and supreme incarnation of human love with the warmest heart in the world.
Later, he boundlessly respected the Chairman as the real “God” in this world and worked hard to give wide publicity to his exploits and great personalities and develop the friendly relations between the DPRK and Russia.
