On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Korea`s liberation, officials, other working people and service personnel paid highest tribute to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il at their statues on Mansu Hill in Pyongyang.
Baskets of flowers were laid before the statues of the great leaders in the name of Party, government and military organs, social organizations, ministries, national agencies, units of the Korean People’s Army and the Public Security Forces and institutions and industrial establishments at all levels and universities in Pyongyang, as well as bouquets.
The visitors made bows with boundless reverence for the great leaders who waged long bloody battles against the Japanese imperialists to liberate the country and laid eternal foundations for building a powerful socialist country with tireless patriotic devotion.
Flower baskets were also placed by units of the Korean People’s Army and the Public Security Forces, institutions and enterprises before the statues and beaming images of the great leaders in different places of the capital city, including Kim Il Sung University, the Ministry of the People’s Armed Forces and the Mansudae Art Studio.
Other officials, working people and service personnel also paid high tribute to the great leaders at their statues and beaming images in local areas.
