Manju Ratna Sakya, chairman of the Association of Journalists of Nepal and doctor of socio-political science, preserves the newspaper “Arpan” dated July 6, 1979 as a valuable family treasure. Carried in the newspaper are the answers of President Kim Il Sung given to four questions raised by the Nepalese journalist delegation, with a photograph of the President meeting the delegation on June 19, 1979.
Recollecting that day, Sakya, in an article titled “Korea, Great Power of People”, wrote as follows:
… All the members of the delegation including me were unanimous in saying that he is not a mere state leader but a great, great and great leader, and the one and only man who can make the whole world happy.
…
President Kim Il Sung is, indeed, a great popular leader who made the new history of prioritizing and loving people.
Sakya participated in the first enlarged meeting of the Board of Directors of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Foundation held in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, in October 2015 and warmly congratulated the founding of the Foundation bearing the august names of the great men and affirmed his will to positively contribute to raising the publicity of the foundation and to its expansion and development.
