“When my mother was a maiden, she got an incurable disease and then gave up everything. But she got her disease finally cured in the bosom of socialist system which regards man as the most precious and married with my father. From that time on, my mother began to keep going to the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun with thanks to Generalissimo Kim Il Sung and Generalissimo Kim Jong Il for having made this excellent system. She planted trees and grew them there. Afterwards, my father and I also planted trees there.”
This is the story of a student Song Ye Gyong who visited the arboretum of the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun each year together with her parent from her age of five.
The reporter was told of her story and could not take careless approach to the arboretum since it was the forest created by the minds of our people which sing their thanks to the socialist system.
