Tanphung Village
One day in April 2014, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the January 8 Fishing Station which was nearing inauguration.
Going round the fishing station provided with all the conditions and environment needed for aquatic production and life of fishermen at the highest level, he expressed great satisfaction over the fact that the hostel had been built splendidly as befitting the dear home of fishermen.
In particular, he was pleased that the residential quarter composed of multi-storeyed apartment houses for fishermen was built wonderfully and called it Tanphung Village.
Prior to it, when he saw newly-made fishing boats, he named them Tanphung, or maple, symbolic of autumn, in the hope of catching a big haul of fish in the sea like a rich harvest. And that day when he saw the fishing village, he named it Tanphung Village.
Puhung Health Complex
One day in June 2013 the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Condiments Factory.
After making the rounds of the workplace, as well as the newly-built welfare facility, he was satisfied that the factory had built its welfare facility impeccably.
That day he highly appreciated the factory as a wonderful palace for workers, a model in the era of the Workers’ Party and a factory brimming with patriotism.
Later, he made sure that the welfare facility was called Puhung Health Complex at the request of the factory’s officials and employees to name their facility.
This reflects his love of and conviction in the working class that they would dynamically advance towards a more prosperous future full of confidence and optimism.
