Going round the newly-built general gymnasium, he praised the relevant sector for having built the gymnasium well and appreciated that it was built wonderfully to meet the standards required by the Party.
The senior official of the school was moved to hear that.
When Kim Jong Un visited the school in January two years before, he dropped in at its old gymnasium. Putting his hand on the cold floor of the gymnasium, he decided to rebuild it.
He tasked a relevant design unit with working out a layout for the renovation of the gymnasium and took measures to help designers refer to data around the world.
Afterwards, he examined the layout submitted by the designers, and detailed its shortcomings in an effort to provide the students with a fine gymnasium.
According to the layout completed under his meticulous guidance, the gymnasium was rebuilt with one floor above ground and two underground floors, the first style of its kind in the country.
Going round the gymnasium, Kim Jong Un expressed satisfaction all the way. The official told him that it had been over 40 years since he graduated from the school and its educational environment had been improved 100 times as compared to those days.
With a broad smile on his face, Kim Jong Un said that the construction of a structure requires considerable effort but when it has been built in such a splendid way, it would be worthwhile and give an unusual sense of pride and joy. He added that it is a pleasure for revolutionaries to create and increase the eternal assets of the country one by one by their own efforts and that is why the revolutionaries make the revolution and devote their all to the effort for enriching the wealth of the country.
