One November day in Juche 103 (2014), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited a modernly-built foodstuff factory.
Feasting his eyes on the factory which changed beyond recognition, he expressed great satisfaction as he could easily understand it as a modern foodstuff factory at the sight of its appearance and it was completely facelifted.
He said he was specially pleased with its perfect establishment of an integrated control system over production and management activities, adding that it is the best in the country in terms of scale, intelligence and IT level. He then expressed satisfaction, saying that all the processes of producing canned meat, soybean paste, soy sauce and butter, ranging from raw material feeding to packing, have been made automatic and unmanned so as to make manual labour dispensable, save labour as much as possible, raise productivity markedly, thoroughly ensure the hygienic safety of products and improve their colour, flavour and quality.
Noting that other foodstuff factories should regard the factory as a model and standard in their technical renovation, he stressed that modernization desired by the Party is not the one that introduces foreign assistance, technology and equipment as they are, but the one that is done by relying on domestic force and technology.
